Happy bones pet care
Dog walking
Group or solo dog walks
Group walks of no more than 4 but usually just 2 or 3 at a time. This
can be a great opportunity for your dogs to enjoy socialising with other
dogs and is particularly good for younger dogs to learn from the older
ones.
Of course some
dogs prefer their own company or maybe getting on in years and prefer
to go at their own pace. The walks I choose are at various locations to keep
the walks interesting with plenty of play and interaction built in.
Only severe weather conditions will stop us going out on our walks. Your
furry friends will be returned to your home happy and content, paws
washed and water bowls replenished.
Dogs
will kept on their leads for their first couple of walks, this will
give us a chance to get to know each other. On subsequent walks your dog
will only be let off the lead once I feel it is safe to do so and with
your prior consent. All dogs walking with me will have a temporary
“tag” with my name and phone number for added security. Clean bowls,
fresh water and a first aid kit are always with me. I also carry a
special pet ramp for those dogs who would find it more difficult to get
in and out of my vehicle! For your peace of mind, my dog transport
crates are disinfected between guests with a purpose made pet safe
kennel disinfectant.
If
you are interested in me walking your dog/s I will arrange to visit you
at your home and we can discuss your needs. There is a small amount of
paperwork that would need to be completed. I can even go on a walk with
you if you feel this would be beneficial. Keys are usually collected
at the initial consultation and are tagged and kept safe away from
personal information.
